Dr. Patricia Rogers is an indomitable force – a force for change, growth, and service. On meeting her, you immediately know that she is a force to be reckoned with. Dr. Rogers passionately believes that “People Need People,” and in her varied and accomplished roles of Entrepreneur, 2x Winner Public Speaking, International Best-Selling Author, Business Consultant, Social Media Marketer and Virtual Event Coordinator, she brings like-minded people together in the spirit of achieving mutual growth and empowerment.

Challenges are what shape us, and Dr. Rogers uses her own experiences to remind us that if we meet challenges with strength and integrity, we will succeed. A highly tenacious individual, she refused to acquiesce when during her corporate career, despite her work ethic and academic qualifications, she was not considered for the promotions she felt she deserved.

Predominantly male environment of law enforcement, she was faced with circumstances that often left her feeling inadequate and unappreciated. But she refused to simply accept her arduous work being unacknowledged. She persevered through the process of filing a complaint and pleading her case before the Board of County Commissioners. Her perseverance was rewarded with the promotion she rightly deserved.

Incredibly, Dr. Rogers faced these circumstances three times, and each time she challenged administrators who seemed determined to rob her of any career progression. Her tenacity and drive ensured that she progressed through the ranks of correctional officer to correctional corporal, correctional sergeant and eventually correctional lieutenant, her pre-retirement goal. Dr. Rogers proudly states that her perseverance has ensured that the Miami-Dade County Department of Corrections pays her a six-figure pension, with a three percent annual increase for the remainder of her life.
It is this type of determination and drive to succeed that she nurtures in every entrepreneur with whom she works.

Vivacious and stylish, Dr. Rogers hosted an extravaganza of a retirement party, arriving in a horse drawn Cinderella Coach, wearing a ballroom gown. A live band entertained guests, while City officials including the Mayor of Miami-Dade County proclaimed the day to be “Lieutenant Patricia Rogers Day.” While many of us, particularly as women, too often minimize our achievements, Dr Rogers shows us not only how to achieve our goals, but to celebrate our achievements in joy and style.

Eager to use her leadership and networking skills to assist others, and with no desire to fade into retirement, Dr. Rogers founded Unity In Service, Inc., through which she hosts annual in-person entrepreneurial networking events, enabling entrepreneurs in the marketing of their products and services. Unity In Service, Inc., also provides key social media, video production and public speaking training, ensuring that aspiring entrepreneurs are equipped with all the skills required to maximize their success.
Dr. Rogers is highly qualified in the work she undertakes, with her social media marketing skills having positioned her as a Manager, of Track2Digital Virtual Assistance Team.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from ST. Thomas University, Miami and is a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success. She obtained the Honorary Doctor of Humanity Award, in 2021, from Theophany University in Haiti.
