I’m Not Lucky, Blessed, or Even Fortunate.
Submitted by Dr. Karina Felix
I’m not lucky, blessed, or even fortunate. I was not at the right place and time by coincidence. I’ve worked consistently and persistently to be blessed, lucky, and at the right place and time. My job, career, trajectory, and goals are all in me; finding myself. Figuring out why I’m here and what my contribution to life is.
It’s an ongoing journey of daily practices that has to be applied all day, every single day. It’s the action behind the desires. It’s not like a regular job where you clock out at the end of the day or take vacations or holiday breaks. It’s not even academic: go to school, get the grade, receive a diploma, and find a secure lifetime job. It’s not even the path of marriage, kids, household chores, and responsibilities.
All of those passages in our lives are temporary. They come and go in stages. There is only one job, one chore, one responsibility, and one ultimate goal with no timeline. That one thing is connecting with you. Working towards the attainment of your soul’s vision and mission should be your daily job. The journey your soul came here to experience never stops; it’s infinite.
Does it scare you to hear this?
Are you already feeling tired because you can’t imagine not resting, taking breaks, or going on holiday?
That shouldn’t be the case if you choose to make it a conscious lifestyle. When you renew your lifestyle and make the necessary adjustment to create flow in your life, there’s no work or effort needed beyond that. This conscious lifestyle brings with it the health, wealth, ease, and joy you have sought all along. It’s not the other way around.
You do not first pursue happiness, health, well-being, ease of life, and mind with too much effort and working hard. We’re not meant to work that hard. It is our birthright to live in ease, peace, abundance, and money flowing easily to us.
Connect with your higher self and let the rest fall into place for you.
It’s that simple!
